Relo Network Asia’s AI Assistant: A Smarter Approach to Relocation Support
Wednesday, June 4, 2025
Relo Network Asia (RNA), a leading expert in Destination Services across the Asia Pacific, has teamed up with Persona Studios to build an AI assistant - aka a “persona”. The RNA persona does more than just answer common questions: it leads needs assessment chats for immigration enquiries, kicking off the first part of the process by gathering all the relevant details.
Here we take a look at how RNA is thoughtfully weaving AI into its relocation workflows - using it where it makes sense, keeping data secure, and freeing up human consultants to focus more of their time on relocating assignees.
Moving Countries? RNA’s Persona Knows The Lingo
Whether it’s a Japanese executive looking into schools in Singapore or a Thai expat needing visa info, the RNA persona can chat in their language - literally. It understands both voice and text in over 30 languages, and works across popular platforms like web chat, SMS, WhatsApp, and Facebook Messenger.

Conversations That Get Things Done
Most AI chatbots just answer questions, RNA’s AI persona does more. Thanks to its “agenda mode” when necessary it can actually lead conversations. So when someone reaches out for help with immigration instead of filling out forms or waiting for a callback, they just let the persona walk them through the first immigration qualification call. Once the conversation wraps up, the AI persona summarizes everything and passes the essentials on to RNA’s team for further action.
Behind the scenes, RNA uses Persona Studios’ agenda builder to map out the conversation flow. The agenda builder is a powerful no-code platform that provides instructions on how the AI should lead the conversation and also supports advanced features, such as: conditional questions, connecting to APIs, database lookups, scheduling appointments, conversation evaluations, integration with external systems, and more!
AI That Learns On The Job
RNA's AI persona isn’t just smart, it keeps getting smarter. It’s trained on RNA’s own library of documents, destination guides, and market reports. And when RNA updates anything (like when a bank opening procedure changes or housing availability becomes an issue), the AI picks it up and syncs its knowledge automatically.
The RNA team can stay on top of everything thanks to built-in features like:
Missing knowledge alerts – If the assistant gets stumped, RNA gets notified and can train it right away.
Custom triggers – Set to flag key words or urgent requests, like “need help fast” or “talk to a human.”
Weekly reports – Showing what’s working, what’s not, and where there are gaps to fill.

Privacy And Data Security
Relocation involves sensitive personal data, so privacy isn’t optional - it’s critical. RNA’s AI persona is built with GDPR in mind:
Clear user consent is required
Data is never used to train external models
Everything is encrypted and stored on secure GCP servers
Users have full rights to access or delete their data
Role-based access keeps things tight on the backend

AI That Makes Room For The Human Touch
After the pilot’s initial success RNA and Persona Studios are exploring deeper integrations with RNA’s other tools - like their relocation management platform. The aim: fewer repetitive tasks, a better customer experience and more time for the team to focus on the human side of relocation.
As Steve Burson, CEO of Relo Network Asia, puts it:
“AI isn’t here to replace the people behind relocation - it’s here to support them. RNA and Persona Studios show what that balance can look like. The assistant takes on the repetitive, time-consuming tasks so our team can focus on what people do best: solving problems, guiding families through big changes, and bringing empathy to the moments that matter.”
